    Alex Wray
    Founder and CEO of Wray

Alex founded his leadership development firm in 1993 to grow leadership capacity, transform culture and achieve extraordinary business results.

He has served a broad range of clients from small entrepreneurial start-ups in the Silicon Valley to the CEO offices of both Motorola and Ford Motor Company. The majority of his experience is with the energy, financial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and professional services sectors.

Their common challenge is that the status quo must change. Alex believes an organization won’t change until its leaders change. He links a leader’s development to the results that matter most. He  is an  innovator and implementer that thrives “where the rubber meets the road.”

Since 2013, Alex’s focus has been on accelerating the rate at which leadership capacity can be developed. It has resulted in programs that bring an innovative blend of executive coaching, group coaching and workshop facilitation. At the core of these corporate programs are the principles of Structural/Systems Thinking and ground-breaking insights of Harvard University Professors Bob Kegan and Lisa Lahey. Alex learned from Kegan and Lahey in serving one of the world’s largest wealth managers on their journey of transformation.

In today’s world, we all need Coaching, more than ever before.

Coaching Matters touches the various facets of Coaching and how it connects with our personal day- to-day life. Coaching helps people tap into their potential, unlocking sources of creativity and productivity.

The purpose of coaching conversations is to stimulate thinking, growth, and change that lead to action. Put simply, a coaching conversation is developing the ‘ask, not tell’ habit which encourages people to work things out for themselves and take more responsibility for their actions.
