The word Ethics is derived from the Greek word ‘ethos’ which means customs, habits, characters, or disposition. Ethics is a branch of philosophy that focuses on human behavior and moral judgments.
They define the framework of human beings, what they stand upon, and what they are. It forms a major part of our lives.
Coaching also requires ethics. When an individual first enters the world of coaching, he may believe that in order to be successful and make ethical decisions, he must first undergo training and learn about the ethical code of conduct for coaches. Thus, we have created this ebook on the ethical model developed by ICF, to set a standard for all the coaches around the world.
